These are the questions which we get asked most often. You can look through all of them here or choose the specific area in which you are interested from those below. If your question is not answered here, please send it to us.

  1. I'm new to this site. Where do I start?
Start with the homepage first, and walk your way through the YD/YL 101 page for the background on the project. Next go to the Steering Committee and see what is meant by youth leadership. From there check out the resources page and the other parts of our site to see how we put the research into practice.
  2. I've never heard of NCLD/Youth. What is it, what does it do, and who funds it?
The National Consortium on Leadership and Disability for Youth (NCLD-Youth) is a youth-led resource, information, and training center for youth and emerging leaders with developmental disabilities, housed at the Institute for Educational Leadership
You can visit the About Us page to read more detailed descriptions about our work and our partners.
  3. How can I be updated about new information on your website?
NCLD/Youth will be setting up an e-newsletter shortly. Keep checking back and we'll put up a subscription page soon.
